I.About Hvera

Hvera is a geothermal engineering company. We find heat underground, drill down to it and turn it into power and warm homes, from Reykjanes to the Rift Valley.

Founded in Reykjavík in 1998, we run our own rigs, test crews and plant teams. One contract covers the whole path from survey to steady output, so nothing is lost between handovers.

Deep drilling · Olbara, Kenya
i.ExplorationMagnetotelluric surveys, gas geochemistry and slim holes that map a reservoir before the first rig arrives.
ii.Deep drillingDirectional wells to five kilometres with in-house rigs rated for 400 °C and high-pressure steam.
iii.Well testingFlow, injection and tracer tests that size every well and set its long-term output.
iv.Plant EPCFlash and binary plants from 5 to 120 MW, designed, built and commissioned by one team.
v.District heatingExchangers, pipelines and pumping stations that carry spent brine heat into cities.
vi.OperationsRemote monitoring, scaling control and workovers that keep plants above 95% availability.
III.Depth profile

VI.Careers

Crews who read rock.

Drillers, geologists and plant crews work the same field from survey to start-up. We train on our own rigs and rotate people between continents.
